We will be undergoing additional scheduled maintenance during this time. This is an additional maintenance window, which is allocated outside our normal monthly service maintenance window. Due to this reason, we are informing you in advance.
During this time slot, we will apply planned changes to our service. Some of these actions will require service downtime and/or service restarts, due to which the Lyyti Portal will be temporarily unavailable. Lyyti event registration pages are not affected.
As part of the planned changes, the address (URL) used to access Lyyti Portal will change from www.lyyti.fi to portal.lyyti.fi. Lyyti event registration pages are unaffected, i.e. the addresses (URLs) for registration pages will not change. The IP address used to serve Lyyti Portal will also not change.
Q: What does this mean, do I have to do anything? A: This detailed description is provided for your information, but most Lyyti users do not have to do anything to accommodate this change. In rare cases, and only if you are unable to access Lyyti Portal after this maintenance, might some action be required on your end.
Q: What is a case where I have to do something? A: If you access Lyyti from a corporate network which is heavily restricted, your network administrators may need to separately allow each internet site that you need to access. If this is the case for you, and your network administrators have previously added a rule to allow access to Lyyti based on the address (URL) www.lyyti.fi, you might need to add another rule to allow access to portal.lyyti.fi as well.
